- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Ensure all work is completed to required standards and within timelines
- Identify and diagnose electrical faults and failures
- Carry out effective repairs to restore equipment operation
- Minimize downtime and production interruptions
- Maintain high levels of equipment reliability and availability
- Install and commission electrical equipment, systems, and components
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems
- Identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions
- Complete maintenance reports, job cards, and records accurately
- Record faults, repairs, and actions taken
- Provide feedback for maintenance planning and improvements
- Ensure installations comply with technical specifications and safety standards
- Form IV or Form VI Secondary Education
- Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering will be and added advantage
- Valid Tanzania Driver's License Class B, D
- EWURA installation license (added advantage)
- Professional membership like ERB, IET will be an added advantage
- Minimum 3 years working experience as an Electrician in process plant or worked as an Electrical Supervisor in process plant, manufacturing plant, cement or petrochemical plant
- Any work experience as substation operator, technician or Engineer will be considered
- Strong fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems
- Experience in using electrical testing tools (multimeters, insulation testers, clamp meters)
- Ability to perform equipment inspections and testing
- Capability to work independently and manage breakdown situations effectively
